Piston Ring Serves as Preventing leakage of a mixture of air and gasoline and combustion gas that passes through the gap between the piston ring and the cylinder wall into the crankcase during the compression and effort step. Prevents oil from lubricating the piston and cylinder into the combustion chamber.
